My take on "Yellow Balloons" by

"'Look,' she said softly, her eyes looking through the window again. Balloons fluttered upwards in the wind. All were tied in pairs. One red and a blue, two whites, and two orange… but not a yellow balloon in sight. He turned back to her, at the verge of tears. She didn't look down at his face. Her eyes still stared out the window.
He looked back once more, and watched two yellow balloons rise above the rest, long silvery strings trailing beneath, reflecting light beautifully everywhere." (full story: [link])
